In the "Options" page of the Print settings window added the choices: "Word wrap" (breaks long text to several lines), "Center text horizontally", "Center text vertically".

It is not yet available through a specific feature. It is only possible to import data by directly writing to the XML file with which the program is working.

In the next minor update (6.2.28) we'll make it possible to: choose whether you want the text to be centered or not; use "word wrap" for cells. The word wrap will make long text inside cells to be wrapped to several lines. Also, the program will decrease font size in case the whole text does not fit. However, the size of the cells will remain the same (in printouts the program assigns the same height and width to all cells).

I saw a posting asking if there is way to change left justification to centre when printing. In new versions, centring is now automatic. I liked the old left justification. Is there anyway to change it back ?

Also, when I print I am losing a lot of information because some rows have a lot more information than others. Is there any way to ensure that whatever is on the screen will be printed, even if some rows require much more height ?

There is no audio to the tutorials - only screen capture. The steps of each tutorial are explained in each video forum topic and the tutorial just follows through these steps visually. If you did not understand something, you are welcomed to ask.

I have recently joined Lantiv. I am trying to learn the program, when I try to watch the videos I am not able to get the sound to work. Is there a trick to it? Help?

Yes, it is quite buggy Will be fixed in 6.2.27 later on today.

6.2.26 seems to quite buggy. I'm having some difficulties backing up and printing. When I try either of these functions I get a warning window and a message "an invalid argument was encountered" followed by "an unsupported operation was attempted" followed by a crash. Also, the fonts in the print window are all question marks (???????????????????).

Please assist.

"Error_in_6226.dmp" is a file that is located in the folder into which you installed the program. Can you please attach this file so that we could examine the error? Thank you.

I just installed the LantivTimetabler. When I try to open a new file and type in a file name I get the following message: error_in_6226.dmp. Do you have a fix for this?

Attached is the file "dwmapi.dll". Save it in the folder into which you installed the program and try to run it. If there is still a problem, run depends again and send the screen shot. Thanks!

Yes and Yes. The next version has a "Changes" module which allows you to schedule activities on a daily basis during a semester or the whole year and make changes to your timetable. It also allows to assign your own custom note/remark to any cell.

OK, first theory is that some DLL is missing.

Attached is the program "Depends.exe". It allows to check what DLLs another program needs to run. Start this program, choose "File", "Open" and then choose the file "LanTime.exe" in the folder into which you installed the program. Do you see any DLLs appear in red at the bottom part of the screen? If so, what are their names?

Hi,

the new version made no changes to the problem. The error message apears directly after double-clicking the programm-icon. I can�t see any Splash-Screen
System:
MS Windows XP SP3 fully updated. Client in an SBS2003-Domain.

Yes, version 7 has the Building object and in addition to what you have requested it also allows to consider the distances between buildings as a constraint for the automatic timetable construction.

There are only small changes in version 6.2.25 compared to the previous versions. Overall, these features have been added:

Ability to write in any language (program supports Unicode)
Show lesson times in View Settings for reports
Centered text in printouts
When an error occurs in the program, it generates an error report that makes it easier for us to track the error

hi,

In our school we have two buildings:
junior high school and high school.

And most of our teachers teach in both buildings.
Sometimes we want to get statistics (reports) about only one building and not all the school.

For example:
We want to analyze number of teachers, total hours (horizontal or vertical or both) for classes, total hours (horizontal or vertical or both) for teachers, and even supplemental pays for only the junior high school.

Can we get in the new version for each cell in the database an attribute to buildings?

And can we get also in the supplemental pays an attribute to buildings?
