View Settings

The Settings window allows you to define certain preferences as to how the timetable should be shown on screen. To access the window, choose Settings from the View menu. The window contains the following pages:
  1. Contents page - in this page you can define which information is shown in the cells of the timetable. In each cell there may be one or more scheduled activities. Depending on the type of the object and the quantity of activities, you can define whether the teacher's, group's, subject's, room's or equipment's name is shown.

  2. Size page - contains table width and height settings, and several settings regarding cells' size.

  3. Sets page - how sets are treated and shown in the timetable.

  4. Axes page - axes' flipping and table scale (allows you to force all rows or columns to be of even size, which is useful when the lessons are 15 or 30 minute periods).

  5. Font page - timetable and "mini" timetable fonts.

Constraints

The fundamental step in Automatic timetable construction is Constraints entry. Constraints define your requirements from the constructed timetable, and tell the program what is more important to you and what is less important to you in the final timetable.
