Reports

The Reports module allows you to draw information from your timetable, organize it in a table and print it. There are many types of reports, and almost each can be displayed in a table and in a graph (statistic report).

Here are the main components of the Reports view:
  1. Navigation Bar - used to choose the type of the report, the type of the object(s) and the name(s) of the object(s) to whom the report belongs.

  2. Report Table - the main table of the report.

  3. Switch between Detailed and Statistic modes at the bottom.

Here are the types of the reports that you can issue:
  1. Activities - the activities and sets that you had entered in the Database.
  2. Scheduled Activities - the timetable in a textual form. Row per each cell in the timetable, which contains the objects of the activity, room, day and lesson.
  3. Conflicts - reports all existing conflicts in the timetable. The conflicting activities are outlined, and also the day and lesson of the conflict.
  4. Free - all free objects at a particular time slot.
  5. Blocked - all blocked objects at a particular time slot.
  6. Objects - simply a list of objects taken from the Database.
  7. Supplemental Pay - allows you to enter supplemental activities for teachers, for which they receive pay in addition to the curricular activities. You can enter both integer and decimal quantities.
  8. Supplemental Totals - sums the supplemental pay for each teacher.
Each computer calculated row in the report contains a check-box at the leftmost column. This check-box notifies the program whether you want the row to be included in the sum and whether it should be printed. This way, you choose exactly which rows are issued in the final printout. If you check this check-box, the row will not be printed.

User Rows

You are free to append additional information of your own to the report. This can be done in a form of user rows. There are two kinds of user rows:

User Row with Report Specific Data
This row has the same structure as all other calculated rows in the report. But it can be filled by you, by choosing the objects from pop-up lists. To do so, just select the cell you want to fill, and click on the button at the right side of the cell to show a list of available objects for that cell.

User Row with Free Text
This row can be filled freely with text you type. It may serve to add comments to the report, and other information which you want to include in the output.

To add a user row, choose Add Row or Add Text Row from the Edit menu.

Statistic Reports

Almost each report can be viewed in a form of a graph. Click on Statistic at the bottom to view it.
