If you try to schedule an activity when it conflicts with other already scheduled
activities, a window will appear notifying you of the existing conflicts. You have
three options in such case:
-
Not to schedule the new activity;
-
Schedule the new activity on top of the existing activities (creating a conflicted
timetable).
-
Delete the existing activities first, and only then schedule the new one.
You can choose the desired option by clicking on it with the mouse.
As can be seen, the conflicts are described at the bottom of the window. The type
of the conflict is outlined by the icon near the text. For example, if the activities
conflict because they both involve the same group, there will be a group's icon
near the conflict text. Naturally, there might be several object types involved
in the conflict.
Blocks
In many occasions some of the involved personnel cannot be scheduled at certain
times. To tell the program that some teacher cannot be scheduled on Monday, for
example, you can block all the cells on Monday for that teacher.
